I Suck: The Story of a Blogger Apologizing

Hello awesome bloggers and readers of the world! Yes, I am still alive, barely… I am so, sorry to you all and Marianne. My life has had a few changes in the last month or so, and it’s taken me some time to get used to it.

I started on August 11th my Senior year, and even though I had so many plans of being super responsible and be stress-free, I am the exact opposite. I have lots of work daily,…

Review: Manga Classics: Pride and Prejudice by Stacy King, Po Tse, & Jane Austen @stacyking

I didn’t plan on read this in the first place. I was curious to see what new titles were on Netgalley, and then THIS appeared. And I got approved. During this time I was doing community service in a summer camp for kids. I came home tired as heck, and barely read anything. But I had to read this. I finished it in two nights with my eyes almost closing on their own, and dying while in the camp at…

I don’t think I’ve ever read (or listened) to a more stupid, senseless, illogical book in my life. I had so many expectation on this book, on these freaking awesome authors! I loved Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares, also a co-written book with two perspectives of a boy and a girl who eventually fall in love. But this? This was like watching a train wreck.

First let me start with Nick. What is up…

Review: My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick @HuntleyFitz

After I read a book like this, I question myself for taking so damn much on deciding on reading them in the first place! From the very first page I was hooked on this book. We start by knowing that Samantha’s mom doesn’t approve of the new neighbors, and we’re given these ridiculous excuses that are supposed to be insulting, but they actually intrigue us more like how it happens to Samantha. We…

Our Mid-Year Book Freakout!

The incredible bloggers Chami and Ely over at A Book So Fathomless created the Mid-Year Book Freakout, where you pretty much get to fangirl over books and give your opinion on some of them. WOOO HOOO! Marianne saw another blogger, Chiara at Books for a Delicate Eternity, do this and thought we could do it as well. Sounds like fun, so here we go!

1. Best book you’ve read so far in 2014.

I’m gonna do August’s challenge too, but instead of doing every single day, I’ll do the ones I like from the list and feel like doing. As long as it isn’t a repetition of the #julychallenge :) #30daysofbookstagrams #augustchallenge
